Cherry

The opening bursts with a candied peach sweetness that feels less like fresh fruit and more like the syrup in a canned dessert—immediate, uncomplicated, and unapologetically sugary.

By the editors · 2 min readThe opening bursts with a candied peach sweetness that feels less like fresh fruit and more like the syrup in a canned dessert—immediate, uncomplicated, and unapologetically sugary. Despite the name, there's no cherry to speak of; instead, the peach dominates through the first hour before settling into a soft haze.

As it dries down, amber and vanilla provide a powdery base that smells distinctly of baby products—the kind of clean, comforting scent associated with nurseries and freshly bathed skin. The sweetness never quite dissipates, but it becomes rounder and less sharp.

This is a fragrance built for simplicity and nostalgia rather than complexity. It sits close to the skin and fades relatively quickly, making it easy to wear casually without much thought. Best suited to those who want something gentle, sweet, and reassuringly familiar.
