By the editors · 2 min readLabdanum opens with a warm, resinous balsamic character that is immediately rich and slightly animalic. Incense and frankincense introduce a smoky, church-like quality that blends with amber's warmth and nutmeg's subtle spice. Oakmoss, vetiver, and patchouli form a dry, earthy base with mossy depth and woody resilience. The scent evolves from a resinous opening to a smoky, ambery heart and finally a dry, mossy-woody dry-down. Projection is strong initially, filling a room, but settles to a moderate radius over hours. Longevity is excellent, lasting well beyond twelve hours. Best for fall and winter evenings, particularly formal or contemplative occasions.
