By the editors · 2 min readA cooler, fruitier sequel to the original Rush. Freesia and narcissus open dewy and a touch indolic, narcissus pulling some hay-green underneath — closer to a real garden than the magnetic plastic-pink of the first.
Lily and rose form a quiet floral middle, more transitional than centerpiece, leading into a base where blackberry and oakmoss lock together — fruit-tart braided with chypre dryness, musk softening the join.
The overall impression is sheer, slightly tart, more spring-into-fall than seasonal. A cult-quiet floral chypre rather than the original's '90s siren.
