By the editors · 2 min readNeroli and bergamot open with a bright, slightly bitter citrus flash that quickly folds into a rose heart, the petals adding a dry, lipstick-like powderiness. The base takes over within twenty minutes: tonka bean delivers warm hay and almond facets, while vanilla and praline create a chestnut-cream sweetness that muffles the citrus remains. Leather emerges as a soft, suede-like panel stitched with the nutty tonka, never sharp or smoky, just a smooth brown hide polished with sugar. On skin the fragrance stays close, projecting no more than arm’s length for six hours before shrinking to a vanillic skin whisper streaked with faint leather fuzz. Cool autumn evenings and smart-casual offices fit its restrained gourmand gentleman aura.
