By the editors · 2 min readMyrrhe & Délires opens with a peppery citrus burst — grapefruit and bergamot lit with pink and black pepper — that retreats quickly to reveal an extravagantly dense floral-resinous heart. Osmanthus and apricot give the composition a soft stone-fruit sweetness that weaves through rose and iris; violet leaf keeps it from becoming cloying.
The base is a full Guerlain orientale: myrrh and frankincense alongside tonka, incense, and vanilla, all anchored by patchouli. The dry-down is long and complex. This is the kind of fragrance that changes character hourly for the first two hours, then settles into a warm resinous skin that remains present well into the evening. Best worn in fall or winter.
