By the editors · 2 min readWith only neroli on top and cedar at the base, the composition is essentially two notes in conversation. Neroli opens with its honeyed bitterness, that distinctive sweet-bitter floral citrus that sits between orange flower and bergamot.
There's no real heart, so the neroli rides directly toward the base. It stays bright and slightly soapy throughout the early wear, with a hint of green from its natural facets keeping the composition from going overly sweet.
Cedar underneath gives a dry, slightly pencil-like wood that sharpens the neroli rather than softening it. The drydown is clean and minimal, neroli over wood with little ornament. A simple, transparent fresh-floral suited to warm weather and casual daytime wear, more atmospheric than declarative.
