By the editors · 2 min readLeather presents immediately, a supple and slightly smoky hide that dominates the opening with a bold, tactile presence. Incense rises quickly, weaving a dry, churchy aromatic smoke through the leather and lending a meditative quality to the heart. A complex base of opoponax, benzoin, and olibanum provides a balsamic, resinous depth, while cardamom and nutmeg add a soft, warm-spicy undertone that prevents the composition from becoming too austere. Rose and musk linger in the far dry-down, offering a faint floral sweetness and skin-like warmth to the otherwise serious, smoky-leather character. Projection is strong initially but becomes more intimate over time, lasting well over twelve hours for evening or formal cool-weather occasions.
