By the editors · 2 min readA sweeter, more flower-forward turn on the Ma Vie skeleton. The cactus-flower opening is the same green-cool gesture as the original, but here it gets handed off quickly to a wider floral heart.
Freesia, jasmine sambac and rose stack together in the middle — freesia bringing a sheer pepperiness, jasmine a slightly indolic warmth, rose anchoring it as the recognizable centerpiece. It is busier than the parent but not heavy.
The base softens with amber, cedar and sandalwood, where the amber adds a low resinous hum, the woods hold structure, and nothing competes for attention. The result skews romantic and warmer than the line's other flankers, suited to cooler-weather daytime wear.
