By the editors · 2 min readHumor no Ar opens fruit-spicy — apple and plum over apricot, with bergamot and a quick prick of nutmeg keeping it from sliding into compote. The opening is busy but coherent, an orchard top with a kitchen-spice edge.
The heart fills out into a generous white-floral bouquet: gardenia and jasmine in front, freesia and iris pulling cooler, rose and lily of the valley filling the seams. It reads more bouquet than soliflore.
The drydown is where the complexity earns itself — tonka, sandalwood, benzoin, and amber layered into a slow resinous warmth, vanilla and cedar smoothing the seams, musk holding it close. A long, comfortable trail.
