The Collection Energetic Fougère
A synthetic fougère stripped to high contrast, built on amplified rose and a sheer musk-sandalwood base that feels more skeletal than classical.
The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 10 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readA synthetic fougère stripped to high contrast, built on amplified rose and a sheer musk-sandalwood base that feels more skeletal than classical. The rose reads sharp and nearly metallic at first, closer to geranium's green bite than petal softness, skating over a transparent woody foundation that stays light and close to the skin.
The development is minimal by design. What shifts is temperature rather than structure—the initial coolness gradually warms as sandalwood emerges, but the musk keeps everything diffused and modern. There's none of the lavender-oakmoss weight traditional fougères carry.
This works for someone who wants the general idea of a fougère without its historical baggage. Office-safe, inoffensive, deliberately ephemeral. The rose gives it a point of distinction just noticeable enough to separate it from pure abstraction, though it never becomes loud or demanding.
