By the editors · 2 min readGrapefruit opens sharp and slightly bitter, the kind of citrus that reads sporty rather than gourmet. Sage and nutmeg follow quickly, dragging the top in a herbal direction — green, slightly dusty, and clean.
The heart stays compact. Sage carries forward while nutmeg fades, the aromatic edge giving way as vetiver starts rising from below. There isn't a floral interlude — the structure moves more or less directly from green to woody.
Vetiver and patchouli form the base, smoothed by a generous white-musk pad. The drydown is dry, slightly earthy, and modern in a fresh-fougère way without ever turning lavender-sweet. Projection is moderate at first, then close after a few hours.
