By the editors · 2 min readPear and star anise launch a syrupy-sweet top that feels like candied fruit studded with licorice. Orange blossom and rose ride that sugar, turning the opening into a plush white-floral marshmallow. Heart adds ginger heat that slices through the candy, letting tuberose and ylang-ylang amplify the creamy bouquet while iris dusts everything with talcum. Plum keeps the fruit theme alive, so the composition never fully dries; instead it thickens into a spiced amber-vanilla glaze once sandalwood and cinnamon arrive. Musk shepherds the vanillic base, stretching the amber so it lingers close to skin with a persistent bakery warmth. Projection stays at arm’s length for six hours, projecting best in cool weather when the spices read loudest.
