By the editors · 2 min readDeseo is a more serious proposition than its celebrity-fragrance origins might suggest. Yuzu and bergamot in the opening are bright and slightly tart, yuzu's grapefruit-lemon character giving the composition an edge over standard citrus-floral openings. Jasmine and orange blossom in the heart are generous and warm, mimosa adding its honeyed-almondine quality alongside nutmeg's dry spice — an unusual combination that gives the heart genuine interest. Oakmoss, patchouli, and atlas cedar in the base provide a chypre structure that grounds the fragrance decisively: earthy, slightly mossy, longer-lasting than the category average. The composition earns some portion of the name's confidence.
