Jennifer Lopez
Sun-warm celebrity fragrance, since 2002.
Jennifer Lopez's fragrance line launched in September 2002 with Glow, a clean musky floral developed under Coty's Lancaster Group. Glow became one of the highest-grossing celebrity fragrances of the era, projected to reach a hundred million dollars in first-year sales, and effectively reset what a celebrity scent could be commercially. The line has since expanded into more than two dozen flankers and follow-ups — Still, Live, Deseo, Glowing, JLuxe — covering fruity florals, gourmands, and lighter aquatic compositions. The work is squarely accessible-luxury: department-store distribution, recognisable bottle silhouettes, and a focus on warm, friendly skin scents rather than statement perfumery. Licensing has shifted across Coty and other partners over the years, but the brand identity stays close to Lopez's public persona: glamorous, sun-warm, and unfussy.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
