Saffron threads through with a leathery, slightly medicinal warmth that keeps the praline from going flat. The drydown is short on stated ingredients but long on character: a sweet-but-savory rose pastry that lives on the wrist, projecting modestly at first and tightening into a warm skin presence after the first hour.
