By the editors · 2 min readA small sweet-amber composition built from tonka bean, ambergris, and caramel. Ambergris here reads as it usually does — warm, slightly salty-marine, with an animal undertone that keeps the sweetness from going dessert. Caramel adds an unambiguous gourmand thread, more burnt-sugar than vanilla.
Tonka closes the structure with a hay-like, almond-vanilla sweetness that integrates the other two into a single warm presence. The composition stays close to skin and reads more as a comfort scent than a complex one — a quiet, slightly retro gourmand-amber that lives well on the wrist in cold weather.
