The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 8 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readCypriol opens dry and smoky, its woody-spine immediately announcing a resin-forward agenda. Labdanum joins at the heart, doubling the resin load and folding a warm, leathery sweetness into the smoke, so the accord feels like smouldering incense rather than fresh sap. The base keeps the same labdanum but lets the amber accord swell, turning the smoke softer, rounder and almost caramelised without adding explicit gourmand tones. Wear reveals a slow collapse: the cypriol’s charred edges recede first, leaving a fuzzy amber-labdanum cocoon that stays close to the skin for hours. Projection is polite, creating a low, sweet-smoke aura best suited to cool evenings or layered under heavier coats.
