By the editors · 2 min readWith no defined pyramid stages, the composition builds out of its assembled notes rather than developing in sequence. The early impression is bright and slightly sharp — yuzu and ginger giving a citrus-spicy lift, ginger fresh-edged rather than candied.
Jasmine and orange blossom expand the middle into a creamy white-floral register, the orange blossom carrying a soft honeyed warmth, jasmine adding indolic depth without going heady. Citrus residue keeps the florals from feeling enclosed.
Tonka bean, benzoin, vanilla, and musk close in a sweet-balsamic-warm register, benzoin adding a resinous-vanillic glow, tonka hay-coumarin smoothness. The overall character is a citrus-floral oriental with a sweet-balsamic floor — projects moderately, suits cool-weather casual and evening wear.
