By the editors · 2 min readFrom the Explosions d'Émotions collection, Onde Sensuelle earns its name through accumulation rather than through any single dominant note. The spice cluster in the heart is uncommonly dense — jasmine sambac, pepper, ginger, cumin, saffron, and cardamom — held together by oud in the base. The grapefruit opener is brief, a brightness that recedes within minutes into a darker, incense-adjacent body. Longevity is substantial. The overall character reads as oriental rather than fresh despite the citrus start, and it projects with quiet confidence. Best worn when temperatures drop: the spice combination gains coherence in cool weather and reads muddled in heat.
