By the editors · 2 min readApple, lemon, and bergamot form a fresh, slightly tart opening — the apple adding a fruity sweetness that the citrus notes keep crisp. The opening is bright and uncomplicated, a clean aromatic fruity accord.
As the fragrance develops, tonka bean and patchouli begin to emerge, pulling the composition in a warmer direction. Oakmoss adds an earthy, slightly green undercurrent, and amberwood contributes resinous warmth.
The dry-down is a mossy, woody-amber base with patchouli adding depth. The transition from fresh fruity to earthy amber is the most interesting movement this fragrance makes — a fairly classic masculine structure executed competently.
