La Martina
Argentine polo lifestyle, in fragrance form.
La Martina is an Argentine sport-and-leisure label founded in 1985 by Lando Simonetti, originally as a polo-equipment manufacturer. The brand expanded into clothing through the 1990s and into fragrance from 2006 onward, licensing perfumery to European producers while keeping the polo-field iconography front and centre. The scent line leans toward fresh, sporty masculines and clean florals — leather and tobacco accents on the men's side, white florals and woods for women — and has worked with a long list of established noses including Jean-Christophe Hérault, Mathilde Bijaoui, Luca Maffei, and Véronique Nyberg. Pricing is squarely accessible. La Martina sits in the same neighbourhood as polo-adjacent fashion brands such as Etiqueta Negra: the perfume is mostly an extension of the lifestyle proposition rather than a standalone perfumery vision.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
