By the editors · 2 min readA millennium limited edition built as a triple-rose study — Bulgarian, tea, and wild rose layered against white pepper and mandarin at the open. The pepper saves it from sweetness; the citrus keeps the opening lifted rather than dense.
In the heart the roses uncoil slowly, less jammy than a Turkish rose soliflore and less candied than a centifolia. The base is the soft part: ambrette's vegetal musk under amber and vanilla, a dry-down that reads warm and slightly powdered without going Oriental.
A romantic, era-stamped composition for cool evenings — closer to a bouquet wrapped in cashmere than to a rose perfume of the modern jammy-pink school.
