By the editors · 2 min readBasil, pink pepper, and bergamot open with a green-aromatic snap — basil grassy, pepper bright, bergamot rounding. The opening reads sharp and lifted, more aromatic than fruity.
The heart shifts into the signature combination: blackberry, iris, and rose. Blackberry is jammy and slightly leafy, iris adds cool powder and a metallic edge, rose pulls toward something darker. The mix is recognizable — cassis-rose with iris ironing it flat.
Oakmoss, leather, vanilla, patchouli, and musk form a chypre-flavored base. The drydown is mossy and slightly leathery with vanilla rounding the edges and patchouli grounding things earthy. The fruit persists in trace form. Moderate projection, strong longevity, dry quietly luxurious finish.
