By the editors · 2 min readSea salt opens bright, crystalline and bracing, immediately setting a shoreline tone that feels sun-bleached rather than aquatic. Ylang-ylang arrives within minutes, folding a creamy banana-facet floral into the salt crust, softening the edges while keeping the texture dry and windswept. Sandalwood emerges as the floral recedes, supplying a pale blond wood that stretches the salt-mineral accord into something skin-warm. Vanilla stays whisper-light, adding a round powdery finish that prevents the base from turning austere. The overall arc is linear: salty sparkle → creamy floral → suede-soft woods. Projection stays close, extending perhaps arm’s length for three hours before settling into a sandy skin scent. Best in hot weather, casual days, beach or desk, where subtlety reads as effortless rather than timid.
