Le Couvent Maison de Parfum
L'odeur du temps.
Le Couvent Maison de Parfum traces its lineage to the Couvent des Minimes, a seventeenth-century convent in Mane, in Haute-Provence, where the botanist Louis Feuillée — a royal botanist to Louis XIV — once worked with medicinal plants. The contemporary perfume house was founded in 2012 around that botanical heritage and relaunched in 2018 under Didier Tabary's KRESK group, with Jean-Claude Ellena leading creative direction. The collections are organised around place and plant — Colognes Botaniques, Eaux de Parfum, the more recent Cosmos line — and the formulations are 100% vegan and largely natural-feeling, with a clear, transparent aesthetic that owes much to Ellena's signature restraint. Compositions are developed in Grasse, and the house positions itself as a quietly serious counterpoint to louder corners of French niche perfumery.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
