By the editors · 2 min readOsmanthus opens with a distinctive apricot-leather character — simultaneously fruity and suede-like — before rum begins surfacing with a boozy, slightly fermented warmth. The combination is unusual and immediately memorable.
Tobacco arrives in the heart as a dry, slightly sweet leaf quality rather than smoke, pairing naturally with the rum to build a bar-top richness. The osmanthus continues threading through, keeping a quiet fruity luminosity alive amid the darker materials.
Castoreum and leather in the base push the composition into animalic territory — dense and skin-close. Tonka bean and vanilla smooth the edges without domesticating the overall effect. This is a deliberately dark, intimate fragrance that rewards close proximity rather than projection.
