The heart pivots quickly into ginger and pink pepper, the ginger zingy and the pepper dry, together sketching a fresh-spicy plateau. There is an unusual cool-warm tension through the middle, where the mint refuses to fully fade and the spices refuse to fully soften.
The base of incense, amber and musk drops the temperature: smoky, balsamic warmth that recasts the bright opening as the prologue to something deeper. Overall the impression is a polished, slightly minty incense — fresh-spicy on top, balsamic-smoky underneath — accessible at first sniff and rewardingly more atmospheric in the dry-down.
