By the editors · 2 min readLolita Lempicka Original (2020) is the house re-presenting its core scent under a new bottle and a slightly tightened formula. The opening still goes anise-bergamot, that signature counter-pull between dry herbal sweet and brisk citrus that has been the brand's calling card since 1997.
The heart turns iris and tonka — powdery and cushiony at once — and praline starts pushing forward earlier than in the original. The classic almond-cherry inflection is muted; the modern reformulation reads cleaner, simpler, more contemporary-gourmand than fairy-tale.
Vanilla, patchouli, and white musk close it deep and warm but with that 2020s textile-softener gloss. Long-wearing, easy to project, and engineered for the contemporary sweet shelf rather than the 90s niche shelf. The recognizable signature, in lower-resolution form.
