By the editors · 2 min readA patchouli composition pulled toward gourmand. The opening is unusual — neroli and orange next to praline and amber — which sets up a tension between fresh floral citrus and dessert-warm sweetness right from the first minute.
The heart deepens this: tonka bean, vanilla, cashmeran, and patchouli form a cosy, ambery-woody chord with a slightly soapy modern wood (cashmeran) keeping it from going syrup. The base reprises patchouli alongside white musk, sandalwood, and vetiver — earthy, smooth, very long.
A cool-weather scent that wears closer to a bakery-meets-incense room than to a forest. Evening, casual, anyone who likes their patchouli sweetened.
