By the editors · 2 min readA leathered floral that opens on a bruised apricot pulled away from candied territory by an underlying skin-warm smear. The fruit feels sun-softened rather than juicy.
The heart blooms into magnolia, jasmine and narcissus, the narcissus giving an indolic, slightly hay-like animal lift while magnolia keeps the centre lemony-creamy. The flowers have an unmistakable carnal undertone, never fully demure.
The base is where the perfume earns its name: a supple suede-leather threaded with musk, warm and close against skin. The overall impression is a yellow-tinged white floral wrapped in glove leather — feminine, slightly louche, sensual without going overtly sweet. Persistent but pulled in close.
