Grapefruit and anise open together with a clean citrus bite undercut by a faint licorice edge — the combination reads slightly medicinal before it settles.
The scent fingerprint

By the editors · 2 min readGrapefruit and anise open together with a clean citrus bite undercut by a faint licorice edge — the combination reads slightly medicinal before it settles. Lemon carries that brightness into the heart, keeping things sharp and linear for a while before the base starts to pull.
Labdanum and leather arrive gradually, resinous and dry, with just enough vanilla to soften the animal edge. The transition from tart citrus to darkened leather is the most interesting move here — the two phases feel almost separate until they finally merge.
The result sits in classic chypre-adjacent territory: cool citrus over resinous leather, restrained rather than loud.
