By the editors · 2 min readCinnamon leads with directness — warm, slightly sharp, and present from the first moment. There is no aquatic or green counter-note to diffuse it; the spice simply sits in the foreground and sets everything else in motion.
Benzoin and brown sugar move the composition toward a resinous sweetness that is dense but not cloying. Patchouli adds an earthy undertow that prevents the sweetness from reading as purely confectionary. Sandalwood provides a creamy, close-to-skin texture beneath it all.
The overall character is warm, amber-resinous, and intimate — a slow-burning composition that wears close to the body. Best suited to cold evenings when something enveloping is the point.
