Manos Gerakinis

Manos Gerakinis Parfums is Greece's first luxury niche perfume house, established in 2014 by founder and creative director Manos Gerakinis. Raised in Kavala, a city steeped in Hellenic and Ottoman cultural layering, Gerakinis came to perfumery through a career managing luxury retail at Harrods and working with houses including Valentino, Alexander McQueen, and Dolce & Gabbana. His inaugural fragrance, Sillage Royal, began as a bespoke personal creation that drew such consistent admiration it became the house's founding statement. Every subsequent release draws on nature, history, mythology, and art as filtered through the founder's Hellenic perspective — saffron, labdanum, honey, and Mediterranean botanicals recurring as both material and metaphor. Gerakinis describes his philosophy as the art of slow perfumery: taking the time to allow emotion to become scent, and allowing scent to become memory. A multi-year finalist for Fragrance Foundation and Art and Olfaction Awards, the house has built international recognition while remaining an authentically Greek voice in world perfumery.
