By the editors · 2 min readSaffron imparts an immediate warm-spicy richness, subtly sharp and aromatic against grapefruit's tart citrus sparkle. Orange blossom emerges as a singular floral heart, offering a sweet, honeyed white-floral contrast to the spicy top notes. Vetiver introduces a dry, earthy woody base, while styrax contributes a balsamic resinous depth that feels smoky and slightly leathery in the dry-down. The composition evolves noticeably from spicy-citrus brightness to a resinous-woody finish with moderate complexity. Sillage remains moderate throughout, lasting four to seven hours with a consistent presence. Best worn in fall or winter for evening occasions, it performs well in cool to cold weather.
