Mauro Lorenzi
Roman extraits, named in Latin.
Mauro Lorenzi Profumi is a Roman artisanal perfumery founded in 2017 by the namesake designer, whose lifelong sensitivity to scent eventually transformed into a creative vocation through years of study and olfactory travel. Operating from a boutique in Rome's historic Borgo Pio neighbourhood, the brand conceives, creates, bottles, and sells its extraits de parfum entirely in-house, maintaining complete control over every stage of production. A pivotal meeting in 2018 with master perfumer Maurizio Cerizza — one of the most respected noses in Italian niche perfumery — gave the project its technical foundation, and their ongoing collaboration has shaped the house's distinctive voice: compositions of exceptional persistence named with Latin titles, many of them dedicated to the Septimontium festival and the seven hills on which Rome was founded. The result is a perfumery practice that reads as an act of devotion to the Eternal City, translating its layered history and sensory density into wearable, long-lasting art.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
