By the editors · 2 min readLavender and bergamot open clean and aromatic, the lavender herbal-blue and the citrus snapping bright over it. The opening reads almost fougère-classic for the first few minutes before the fruit arrives.
The heart pivots: pomegranate, raspberry, and black currant pile in juicy and slightly tart, narcissus adding a hay-and-honey floral depth, jasmine and rose layering soft floral warmth on top. The contrast — herbal cool over jammy-fruit-floral — is the central tension. The base resolves into amberwood's resinous warm-woody glow, sandalwood creamy beneath, patchouli grounding it earthy, white musk smoothing the seams. The progression covers a lot of ground: aromatic to fruity-floral to woody-amber.
Overall a complex modern oriental with multiple distinct phases. Cool-weather evening, strong projection.
