By the editors · 2 min readThe 2006 Ice Touch Woman is the more developed of the two versions. The opening is unusual for the price tier: lemon and blackberry over both black and pink pepper — a tart, slightly biting cocktail that does not behave like a typical mall-counter floral.
The heart is densely populated. Mint provides the chill the name promises; orange blossom, coriander, neroli and white cyclamen give a cool-floral middle that takes its time to evolve. There is more going on in the heart than you would expect.
The base of raspberry, musk, cedar and amber lands soft and slightly sweet — the raspberry sneaking in late is a nice touch. A cooler-weather fragrance with more structural ambition than its sibling line.
