By the editors · 2 min readThe opening is the strongest part — bergamot brightened by black currant, with litchi giving a soft, slightly milky fruit edge. The combination is more interesting than the brand usually attempts and lasts only a short time before giving way.
The heart of violet, lily and jasmine reads powdery and pale; the violet is the most prominent of the three and pulls the composition toward a cosmetic, lipstick-adjacent quality. It is gentle to a fault.
The base of musk, heliotrope and amber finishes things in a soft almond-cream skin scent that holds longest of any of the phases. Daytime, casual wear; the sort of fragrance that disappears into its wearer.
