Sporty Citrus
Honorine Blanc constructed the first of Michael Kors's 2013 trio with exactly the brevity the name implies: a citrus-floral built around orange, mandarin, and pink pepper before jasmine and orange blossom warm the heart — white florals that add depth without sweetening the citrus opening.

By the editors · 2 min readHonorine Blanc constructed the first of Michael Kors's 2013 trio with exactly the brevity the name implies: a citrus-floral built around orange, mandarin, and pink pepper before jasmine and orange blossom warm the heart — white florals that add depth without sweetening the citrus opening. Gardenia appears alongside the orange blossom as an additional creamy white-floral facet. Patchouli in the base grounds the composition with earthy depth, preventing the bright opening from evaporating entirely. Part of a trio alongside Sexy Amber and Glam Jasmine, Sporty Citrus is the most wearable of the range — accessible by design, competently delivered, well-priced. The least complicated of Blanc's three, and arguably the most useful.
