By the editors · 2 min readCinnamon and cumin open with immediate warm spice, both aromatic and slightly savory in character. Lychee provides a brief fruity sweetness that quickly recedes behind the dominant spice accord. Incense emerges in the heart, adding a smoky resinous quality that blends with the continuing cinnamon warmth. Sandalwood provides a creamy woody base that supports the spicy-smoky accord throughout the development. Oud contributes a dark woody character with slight animalic undertones, while birch adds a sharp smoky edge. Amber and papyrus round out the base with warm balsamic and dry papery textures respectively. The composition maintains its spicy-smoky character with good complexity and evolution over six to eight hours. Projection is strong initially, settling to moderate sillage that remains noticeable throughout wear. Best for cool weather evening occasions where a bold scent presence is appropriate.
