By the editors · 2 min readIncense dominates immediately, releasing a dry, mineral smoke that crackles against cool lavender. The lavender doesn’t sweeten; instead it sharpens the resin, giving the smoke a lifted, almost metallic edge. Cardamom arrives early, threading a green-citrus heat through the embers, so the fragrance feels like charred sticks still dotted with spice pods. Myrrh and patchouli merge in the base, creating a dusty, bittersweet leather that smells of extinguished censer ashes and old wooden pews. Over hours the smoke softens, leaving a skin-print of warm, slightly salty resins and quiet earthy patchouli. Projection stays moderate, orbiting just inside personal space; it reads best in cool weather, at dusk, with wool or denim.
