By the editors · 2 min readPink pepper crackles open with a bright, effervescent snap that quickly lets the central rum accord take over, boozy and molasses-rich. Myrrh and orange blossom swirl together in the heart, the resin lending a smoky incense edge while the blossom keeps the liquor from turning too dark. Leather lands early in the base, smooth and well-worn rather than rugged, stitched to dry vetiver and a measured vanilla that reins in the sweetness. Patchouli spreads earth underneath, letting the rum-leather accord linger for hours with a quiet tobacco-like nuance. Projection stays at arm’s length for most of the wearing, making it an effortless cool-weather companion for evenings or smart-casual Fridays.
