By the editors · 2 min readSaffron dominates the opening, its leathery dryness immediately setting a spare, medicinal tone that the grapefruit sharpens rather than sweetens. Cardamom adds a cool, almost green edge, but the trio stays angular, refusing the usual warm spice comfort. Cypriol enters early, amplifying the saffron’s leather with a clean, smoky wood that feels like cedar already smoldering. By the time Atlas cedar arrives in the base, the composition has folded into a single, tight plank of dry wood streaked with the last shreds of grapefruit pith. Musk is present yet subdued, letting the cedar’s cool resin and the lingering saffron tannin create a papery skin scent that projects no farther than forearm distance. The wear is linear after the first twenty minutes: a quiet, matte timber panel suitable for close-office days or cool spring evenings when you want wood without sweetness.
