By the editors · 2 min readMyrrh and clove open dry and resinous, the clove’s medicinal heat snapping against cool lavender to create an austere barbershop foil. Mint arrives quickly, chilling the spices and steering the scent toward a mentholated forest floor where guaiac wood smolders with quiet smoke. Oakmoss and vetiver lock the heart in place, their bitter green facets sharpening the wood’s tarry grain while labdanum pours a leathery amber gloss across the base. Patchouui lingers last, earthy and slightly camphoraceous, holding the earlier spices in a damp, mossy cradle that feels more rugged than refined. Projection stays within arm’s length for six hours, projecting a understated masculine gravity suited to cool weekdays and post-work dusk.
