By the editors · 2 min readDiadema opens with a bright citrus flash—orange and bergamot—that quickly softens into something warmer and more cushioned. The florals arrive almost immediately: ylang-ylang's creamy sweetness layered with rose, both generous but not overpowering. This is white flowers seen through a golden lens, not the stark greenness of a garden but the plush interior of a jewel box.

The base pulls everything into its orbit. Madagascar vanilla and benzoin create a resinous sweetness that benzoin sharpens just enough to keep from turning candied, while patchouli adds a dusky, almost chocolate-like depth. Caramel weaves through the final hours, rounding edges without tipping into gourmand excess.

The result feels like an opulent floral oriental that knows when to restrain itself. It wears close but persistent, ideal for someone who wants richness without volume, warmth without weight.
