Moresque
Italian luxury perfumery with a Moorish accent.
A Milan-based niche house founded in 2014 by Cindy Guillemant, who draws on her Berber heritage to bridge North African olfactory tradition with Italian craft. The range is organised around a Black Collection of dense, high-concentration eaux de parfum (Emiro, Contessa, Sandal Maliki) and a lighter White Collection (Diadema, Regina, Aristoqrati) of more diaphanous compositions. Moresque works closely with perfumer Andrea Casotti, and the house leans heavily on oud, rose, saffron, leather and resinous amber materials rendered with a noticeably Italian sense of polish. Bottles are weighted, jewel-like flacons that nod to Moorish architectural ornament — arabesques, geometric tilework — and carry collection names referencing courtly North African and Andalusian history. It suits wearers drawn to opulent oriental compositions executed with European restraint.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
