By the editors · 2 min readSaffron and nutmeg open with an intense warm-spicy aroma, earthy and slightly medicinal from the start. Cumin introduces a distinct animalic warmth in the heart, while osmanthus provides a fruity-leathery nuance and violet adds a powdery counterpoint. Oud and amber dominate the dry-down, creating a deep resinous and smoky base supported by earthy patchouli and moss. Musk lingers underneath, adding a skin-like warmth to the complex accord. Projection is strong initially but becomes more subdued and closer-wearing after the first hour. Best reserved for fall or winter evenings, this bold and spicy-oud composition suits formal or special occasions where its dramatic character can be fully appreciated.
