The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 12 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readWith only leather and patchouli listed, this opens and stays in dark, earthy territory throughout. Patchouli brings its characteristic damp soil and slight sweetness, while leather adds a drier, more austere counterpoint — the two notes circling each other without much resolution or warmth.
There is no citrus lift or floral softening to ease entry, so the impression is blunt and direct from the start. The dry-down does not evolve dramatically; it simply settles into a denser, slightly animalic skin-close accord. This suits those who want an unambiguous dark-woody-leather effect without distractions — minimal architecture, maximum material.
