By the editors · 2 min readAlien Oud Majestueux opens with a bolt of saffron—metallic, almost medicinal—cut through with cardamom's green warmth. It's the spice cabinet inverted, shadows first. This isn't a gentle introduction. Within minutes, the heat softens as jasmine and cashmeran arrive, blurring the edges into something velvet and skin-close, though the saffron never quite retreats.

The oud here reads more as idea than material: a dark, resinous backdrop that anchors amber's golden weight rather than dominating with barnyard funk. The whole composition tilts toward amber, thick and enveloping, with just enough jasmine to keep it from turning monolithic.

This is Alien's architecture dressed in heavier robes—angular, unapologetic, built for those who want their florals shadowed and their warmth decidedly unsunny. It wears close in summer heat, expansive in cold air.
