Gardenia and rose provide the opening register, luminous white florals that dissolve quickly into the dominant musk rather than competing with it. White cedar extract and cedar in the base supply the only structural element, giving the musk something cool and woody to anchor against without introducing any real woodiness of their own. Vetiver adds a faint dry-green note in the deep base. The composition is deliberately unfussy: it does one thing — the signature NR skin-musk — exceptionally well and declines to clutter it with supporting characters.
